Pre-shipment photos are only provided for the head when custom makeup or implanted hair is chosen. Photos of the body are not included, as its appearance is not customizable.

Because each doll is made by hand, small differences in size and weight are completely normal. You can generally expect variations of around ±3 cm in measurements and about ±3 kg in weight. Are bolts included in NOVA dolls’ feet?

By default, all NOVA dolls ship with standing bolts installed. If you prefer bolt-less feet, please leave a note in the Customer Notes field at checkout. During the pre-sale period only, we will honor this request by shipping the doll without bolts installed and including a separate bag of bolts in the box. If no note is provided, the doll will ship with bolts as standard.

Do TAYU NOVA dolls come with skin texture? And what about the semi-permanent realistic body painting?

NOVA dolls do not feature skin textures. Each NOVA model is finished with semi-permanent realistic body painting that replicates fine human skin details such as veins, pores, and other subtle details.

Each NOVA doll also introduces four world-first innovations:

The NOVA series are pre configured and all dolls come with a fixed vagina ready for immediate shipping. An insert version is unfortunately not available. lf a removable insert is important for you, we recommend considering our silicone series instead.

Does the 148D have different vaginal length depending on the skin color?

Yes. The natural color (with pink labia and areola) has a vaginal depth of 5.5" (14 cm), while the tan (with brown labia and areola) has a vaginal depth of 7.1" (18 cm). The anal depth remains the same for both molds: 5.1" (13 cm).

Since the bodies are pre-configured and already produced for faster delivery, this length cannot be modified for NOVA models.

What does “feet with three standing bolts” mean?

Standing bolts are three small metal bolts installed in the bottoms of the doll’s feet. They help protect the feet when the doll is placed in an upright position and provide additional stability when used with a stand or external support. Please note, standing bolts do not allow the doll to stand completely on its own—external support is always required.

No sex doll can stand completely on its own, and this applies across the entire industry. External stability, such as a stand or leaning against a wall, is necessary. Feet with pre-installed bolts are available to provide balance when used with a stand or other support.

NOVA's Head

Is a neck protector included for the NOVA body and silicone head compatibility?

Yes. Every TAYU NOVA doll includes a protector accessory at the neck interface to isolate silicone from TPE during head swaps. This protector is standard-included and is compatible with all other TAYU heads that use the M16 connector. If you plan frequent head changes, we still recommend matching materials where possible to ensure the most seamless look and feel.

Are the TAYU NOVA and TAYU Silicone heads the same?

Yes. The TAYU NOVA heads are the same premium silicone heads used in the TAYU Silicone Series. Every NOVA doll comes with a 100% TAYU high-standard silicone head, offering the same realism, fine detail, and durability that TAYU is known for.

Can I pair a NOVA head with a silicone body? (Skin-tone & connector)

NOVA skin colors do not have exact one-to-one equivalents in our Silicone Series. To minimize visible differences, the closest matches are: NOVA Natural ≈ Silicone Asian Yellow, and NOVA Tan ≈ Silicone Light Tan. Minor variations may still occur due to material and finish differences, so for the most seamless look we recommend selecting head and body from the same line when possible.

Heads from our silicone series that use an M16 connector are mechanically compatible with NOVA bodies. However, please consider proportional differences and possible variations in skin tone between lines when planning a combination; for the most seamless appearance, we recommend matching head and body within the same series and color family.

Can I customize my NOVA?

NOVA dolls are now customizable. Each unit is made to order, so you can request options such as joint tightness, eye color, wig selection, and makeup preferences (within the factory’s available choices). Care, Cleaning and Repair

Does the NOVA material accept powder eyeshadow makeup?

Yes, NOVA material accepts powder eyeshadow makeup just like TPE.

Can NOVA material be melted to be repaired if it tears or rips?

NOVA can be repaired through heat in the same way as TPE. Its melting point is similar, so small tears or surface imperfections can be smoothed with heat.

How should I clean my NOVA doll?

Internal cleaning: Unlike other TPE dolls, the TAYU NOVA series is completely waterproof thanks to TAYU’s special blend: NOVA UltraSoft HygienicSeal™ Technology. An innovative design eliminates the through-hole between the vaginal canal and the skeleton. This prevents liquid from getting trapped during use or cleaning, helping avoid unpleasant odors and bacterial growth.

External cleaning: It is recommended to wash your doll with water only, especially on the exterior, to help preserve the paint. If you need to use soap, avoid harsh soaps, detergents, or abrasive cleaning tools such as rough towels or sponges, as these may damage the paint or shorten the lifespan of the doll. Please refer to our ‘11. Doll Care’ section for more details.

Are there any special care instructions for NOVA dolls that differ from regular TPE dolls?

Yes. It is not recommended to oil your NOVA doll frequently, as this can cause the body paint to fade more quickly—especially on the nipples and labia, where the semi-permanent paint layer is reinforced. These areas naturally experience more friction, so extra care is needed to preserve the paint. Please refer to our ‘11. Doll Care’ section for more details.

Can I use heat to dry or warm my NOVA doll?

We advise not to use any heat source that exceeds 40°C (104°F) on your NOVA doll. The material, especially in the vaginal area, is designed to be softer for enhanced sensation and is sensitive to high temperatures. Exposing it to heat above this threshold may damage the molecular structure and affect the doll’s surface or internal components.

What is the background of the NOVA Series?
