We continually refine our craftsmanship across all TAYU models, with many upgrades happening quietly as part of our ongoing innovation and IP protection. Improvements such as weight reduction, enhanced softness, advanced internal structures, multi-blend silicone placement, and human-based textures require significant R&D and production effort, even if they aren’t always visible in photos. While pre-2024 models reflect the high standards of their time, our 2025 generation introduces a new level of engineering and materials. 1. TAYU Patented Stainless Steel Skeleton

Reinforced Joints
TAYU skeletons feature an integrated, built-in welded design in the waist area to minimize the risk of breakage. As of June 1, 2024, TAYU doll skeletons have been further upgraded with a 67% increase in thickness, from the industry standard 1.2 mm to 2.0 mm. This enhancement significantly extends the doll’s lifespan and durability.
Joint movement and fluidity improvements
Stiff joints are one of the most common complaints among doll owners. Many feel like they have to wrestle with their dolls. At TAYU, we have always been known for smooth, fluid movement, and we improved this even further after 2024. The updated joints offer a more natural range of motion with lower resistance compared to our prior 2024 models, making posing and everyday handling easier while maintaining stability. Achieving this requires precise machining and skilled craftsmanship, which can be tough to demonstrate in photos.
Welding improvements
We have always designed and manufactured our skeletons in-house. In 2024, we introduced seamless welding technology. Instead of relying on dozens of manual point welds, each joint is welded in a continuous ring at lower temperature, preserving steel integrity and significantly improving durability.

Many of our options require separate molds, additional materials, or extra assembly steps. We don’t simply offer options. Our goal is to execute them better. For example, our hard hands and hard feet have subtle transition lines and a firm yet pleasant feel. This balance is deliberately chosen for comfort and realism.
